[jaws-uk] Re: Dorothy's computer problem

Ottawa Canada

Dear Dorothy and list:

How can you refuse? Simply by saying No. Most children who have
attained the age of about one year understand the meaning of No.
If they don't, you can explain it to them.

The speech doesn't interfere with the use of the PC in any way.

When visiting friends and finding things on their computer I wish
to change or fix, I make it a point to first explain what I have
found or noticed, how it works now and what I propose to do about
it as well as how it will work after my changes.

If they want the changes fine. If they don't, that's fine too as
it is their computer and ultimately they have the final say about
it.
