[jaws-uk] Re: Disk Cleanup & Disk Defragmenter

Hi Sue
Disk clean up rids the pc of files that are not needed any longer. Some
program creat temporary files that are stored in various folders and can
clog up the computer because their number can grow very large.
The difragmenting program compacts data in an area as small as possible in
order to allow the pc to locate files as quickly as possible.
I've used both programs without doing anything to Jaws. The only thing I'd
say, just in case, is that while running either of the programs you need to
give the pc time to do whatever it is doing. If the number of temporary
files you have accumulated is very large, or if your hard disk is very
fragmented, it is likely that you have to wait quite a bit, depending on the
speed of your processor.
Regards,

Carlos.
