[jaws-uk] Disc check?

Sorry if this is OT but I tried posting this on the BCAB list and got no
response.
Why is it that each time I run disc clean as recommended by Tristrum (hope I
spelt that right) that the hard drive is active for a few minutes and then
stops. The screen is then blank for twenty minutes after which time it
finally boots into windows and says your system has recovered from a serious
error.
