Based on my experience, CCleaner and other programs like it do the same thing
that IE has built-in to it. If you run CCleaner, it should get rid of those
files. A good way to test is to run CCleaner and then go into IE and try
deleting those files that way. If CCleaner is doing its job, you shouldn't
have anything that IE would need to clean out. But then, it never hurts to do
both just in case. One never knows what some programs might leave behind, as
we all know modern technology is great when it functions properly.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Deleting cookies and temporary files.
Hi.
I use C Cleaner on a regular basis and I've got most of the options checked
in the list apart from about 3 items towards the bottom of the list which I've
left unchecked because I'm not sure what they do. I also do a regular disk
clean up as well.
I was in internet explorer options earlier looking through the tabs and I
noticed that in the general tab, you can delete files, cookies and delete all.
I'm just wondering if disk clean up and C Cleaner perform these actions or if
it's necessary to go into internet explorer and delete all items such as files
and cookies.
I hope someone understands this e-mail and can explain the answer to my
question. I'm hoping that disk clean up gets rid of cookies etc as I have all
the items checked in that list of options.
Thanks for any comments on this. I'm using a Sony Vaio laptop with Jaws 9
and Windows Vista Premium Home.
Sue.
