Get Jaws window on screen using insert + J.
Go to menu bar, Options,  then tell it to turn off tutor messages in first 
field.
Then play around with anything else you like in this and voices  menus etc.

  Hello, can anyone please, give me step by step instructions, on changing jaws 
settings. The reason for this is due to having downloaded 6.1 and now jaws 
tells me all the information on the screen, every time it changes, yes it is 
driving me up the wall.

  I hope to hear from someone soon. And can anyone please tell me should I be 
using Classic laptop or just laptop settings?
