[jaws-uk] Can Jaws 7.10 read text on power Point slides, and if so how is this achieved?

Hi all,,

A sighted friend has just sent me a file containing a PowerPoint Slide show.

it seems that most of the slides contain text, which I can read with my 
limited sight, however is this readable with Jaws?  and if so how, 
considering that I have Jaws 7.01 on a windows XP computer.
