Norman

When you are looking at a list of books there does seem to be no link to
play the sample. If you click on a particular book to get its full details,
you will find a link that says "no flash player". Press enter on this and
the sample will play. I hope that makes sense.

Hi,

I was very disappointed to find this morning that it is impossible to play
samples from the Audible website without sighted help. The player seems to
be flash, but absolutely nothing is announced. There is not even the
announcement of a graphic.

Has anyone else had experience with Audible and JAWS? I also tried Firefox
with the same result.

Cheers,

Norman O.

Hi Robin and Catherine,

I am running Jaws 9 and acquired the following lines amongst others, in Word
XP by pressing JawsKey+h:

List inline objects such as clipart Control+Shift+O

List embedded graphics Control+JAWSKey+Shift+G

Describe the border around the active cell, table, paragraph or section
Alt+Shift+B

Convert all drawing layer objects to text layer objects Alt+Control+Shift+C

I hope that some of these are of use to you.

Regards,

Phil Medway

Hi,

Think this is one of the down sides of jfw 9. It used to tell me where
my logo was on my charity letterhead but it doesn't now.

I have to revert to an earlier jfw for this to be announced. Also, there
used to be a setting for pictures and borders to be announced but that's
disappeared in jfw 9.

Hi,

Using JAWS 9 - I want it to announce when I cursor over a picture in a
Word document. I can't remember/find which setting to use...could
someone advise?

Thanks,
Catherine
