[jaws-uk] Re: Accessible dictionaries

Hi there I do it a couple of ways. but to start the easy way I have just
printed out a Test from my Hp Laser Jet Printer. I scanned the document and
then from the numberpad side using of course read I get to the word I need
and press the second key in from the far right top row. if I want more that
the dictionary can offer I press the shift key the Horizontal at the
bottom, the one that would be Zero if using as numbers then you get the
Thesaurus and much more if I do it they keyboard way I go to Tools and you
can have a huge choice such as Define a word. However in your ready made
Folders you have the Manual, you can bookmark the chapters you may want to
get at fast. Additionally I had a couple of tape Tutorials and I found these
very helpful. There is so much you can do with this wonderful tool, I know
the files and folders can be a bit confusing to start with and Kurzweil has
its own key strokes called they are really just like Hot keys as Jaws has.
My spelling is so poor and also I am curious about the origins of a word,
you can get almost a little History lesson on an interesting word. If you
were a ever able to see you know how it is you start to look up one thing
and then you think of another and get quite carried away. Anyway look at
the Manual ask for tapes the 2 tape and remember that Kurzweil are the
kindest people around. Just Email for help. also look at their Website as
well for downloads etc. Dorothy.
