[jaws-uk] Re: Aargh! problems with tables

Normallly when you press tab at the end of a table it creates an etra row, not
a collumn. However MS Word has the solution.
1 Locate yourself on the offending row or collumn you wish to delete.
2 Press alt+A to go into the "table" menu and down arrow to "delete" and
press enter to go into the sub menu.
3 Select "row" or "collumn" as apropriate to your deletion criteria.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Aargh! problems with tables

  Dear List,
This is not strictly a Jaws problem, but it is a being blind problem, so I
hope you will humour me and give me a solution if you have one.

I have just spent the entire morning, as well as a significant chunk of last
night creating and filling in forms.

I created the forms as tables, but did not protect them as I wanted JAWS to
read me the prompts each time. The forms are quite long-winded and
complicated, and somewhere along the way I have accidentally pressed tab and
created an extra and unwanted column. I really will scream if I have to redo
the whole thing to put this right and would be truly grateful if someone could
tell me how to get rid of the extra column without mucking up the rest of my
work.

  Yours anxiously awaiting a response,

  Maggie
