[jaws-uk] Re: A problem with a web site

thanks it was not my problem but another party's he complained that a
Website used too much of his computers resources. Paul somebody. he said
his home set up and Work set were identical settings copied from Work, he
did say he had more memory on his Home computer but better Graphics at
work. I tried to look at the Website with my little laptop had no problem,
no non at all. Using only Jaws 4.5.1 I did dare to ask the question about
the Site which was " How long does it take to get at the cost or charges! I
was rebuked by the gentleman in question. I was not sending up his Website
just making a common sense observation. After all if a Website uses up a lot
of a Computers resources, supposing you have a Dial-up. Anyway being of a
curious disposition I gave any information I could in order to help Got no
thanks for my trouble at all. It suddenly came to me that if he could take
his home software to his office he then could test and if he has no
problem he would be able to pinpoint the problem on his computer at Home.
It kept me thinking the problem you see a bit like a crossword puzzle.
Still I imagine he has forgotten all about it by now Also I noticed he
himself lived in Suffolk where the Organisation is situated perhaps he
phoned them and they invited him in for a free visit. He could tell them at
least to revise their Website. if I still have his email I will fish it out.
People ask questions and do not always come back to report results Look at
Barking Babs. or Barbara I still do not know the Wireless connection she was
asking for help about Andrew Hodgeson late in the evening did give a step
step by step set of instructions Now seems she has a Belkins, No idea what
she was trying to set up and asked for help with. Dorothy.
