[j-tools] backing up and restoring doesn't work

I backed up my shortcuts etc. to a thumb drive drive e, and took it to work.
I restored at work from drive e, and when I hit grave l, it said "no
shortcuts". How can I do this manually so my shortcuts and text notes are
at work as well as at home. Thanks.
