My reply: Would unchecking the "Detect languages," in the Word .jcf file
solve this problem?
Also, I'm quite surprised that all you've found so far in J-Say 4 are
problems. I've found it to be a truly excellent product. I'm most
impressed with the speed of response to my voice commands. The help that
J-Say gives during the training of the voice files is also improved and very
well done. Dragon 9 is quite impressive in itself. The accuracy of the
recognition is so good that I've had little chance to use the improvements
in the correction system which are part of J-Say 4.

Word... Don't you? We've always recommended this configuration and we'll
include this in the next manual revision...ed.

The manual says "Mail Format" Tab Page, "Compose in this Message Format"
should be set to "Plain Text". You do not mention in your manual to also
uncheck the checkbox that says "use Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 to edit
e-mail messages"

But in the J-Say manual, under chapter 4, under the heading of configuration
changes which should be made to Microsoft Outlook, we tell you to set
Outlook to compose messages in plain text. I say this not to be pedantic,
but rather to suggest that the computer should not only conform to the
recommended specifications for operating (processor, RAM, etc.), but also
that the operating system and associated applications should be configured
in line with whatever is set out in the manual within that chapter.
One of the purposes of the list of course is so that we can be notified of
any problems which may occur within J-Say, and we will very gladly take them
forward for the next version of the product. Indeed it is only when people
start using a product on ifferent machines that the bugs start to emerge,
and that is apparent with almost all software products, both mainstream and
specialist. We do not mind hearing about them. That is also why we have a
beta testing group who did a fantastic job in helping us this time around
and will I hope do so again in the future. However, if bugs are going to be
reported please stay within the parameters of what we expect from the
computer, the operating system and the applications.

You are told that you are in the body of an e-mail message and less you use
Word as your e-mail editor. To reproduce the problem follow the following
steps.
1 open Microsoft Office Outlook
2 go into options and make sure the checkbox that says "use Word 2003 as my
e-mail editor" is checked.
