Hi Judy,

What happens if you just dictate punctuations? Do they come out as expected?
If not, it may be time to have a poke through the vocabulary editor.

Yes, back in the dark ages I had a degree in broadcast news. They worked a
couple of month ago. I looked in the menus and normal is checked. I need to
get the punctuation straightened out.

Thanks,
Judy

Hi Judy,

Hmm, how are you dictating? Remember, you need to speak like a newscaster.
Have a look at the commands tab in options and adjust the pause before
commands slider if that will help at all.

commands like speak line are working. I went to the accuracy center and made
some fine audio adjustments.

When I try to capitalize a proper name, half the time it puts cap in the
document and the other half it is working. same for quotation marks.

is there a way to set the punctuation commands to function better?
Also, when I tell it to speak document, I get Jennifer instead of my Jaws
voices. Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks,
Judy
