David- the most common reason for this behavior is that the microphone is
'too close' to your mouth. Try backing it out a bit and see if that doesn't
help.ed.

i am finding that check microphone is flakey. sometimes it works. some times
it does. it was working more reliably when i was using Jaws 8 and JSay 5,
and found this degraded now that i am using Jaws 9 and JSay 6.
