Go to the view menu, select arrange by, then select date.

From the view menu, Ensure that the reading pane is set to off.

From the view menu, Ensure auto preview is off.

Dear Brian, When I try to scroll down using down Arrow, I don't hear
anything. When I use Control plus 1 key combination, Iam able to hear
Jaws informing the message headers and yet they are only about
attachment details and how much KB they contain and the like. Thanks so
