Hi
Then you should uninstall jaws including shared components, and if
prompted to remove user settings, select yes.
Then reinstall.

Hi Brian,
I have removed a file which was labelled J-Say, and re-run JAWS repair
and restarted.
No change, issue still exists.
Please advise.
Cheers

Hi Dave
Then you definitely haven't removed jaws completely. I would suggest as
a starting point you go to the start menu, programs, jaws X (where X is
the version number), explore jaws, explore my settings. There may well
be some files lurking in that folder to delete.
Then when they are deleted restart jaws and see if you get the same
problem.

Subject: [j-say list] Haunting Dragon
Hi all,
Due to not using Dragon naturally speaking and J-Say, and it interfering
when it was supposedly not in use. I removed both applications, and ran
the JAWS repair twice afterwards, but, now whenever I open or switch
application I get the following message:
script load error C:\Documents&settings\All
Users\ApplicationData\FreedomScientific\Jaws/8.0\Settings\ENU\ECHO1.jsb
could not be opened
and in Outlook, I cannot open messages using either the spacebar or
return, as I hear: Unknown script called to append message
and as I move through the list of folders in Outlook, I hear "To move to
the item, Say move down one" I shouldn't hear that! My machine is
haunted!
Help.
Cheers
