I'm not sure how much of a bottleneck I did post the statement/question
yesterday:

* I'm hoping they are able to transfer at the full 480Mb/sec!

* What are the realistic achievable tranfer rates of USB2 compared with a
* 100baseT network?

I'm not sure if it appeared, I have not seen any replies:-(

The unit does I believe have quite a large buffer so moderate size transfers
(in RISC OS terms) wouldn't suffer the bottle neck.

Also quite a few people will only be be accessing it across 10baseT, e.g.
from a RiscPC or if they have a switch rather than a hub (Though they should
really upgrade in that case!)

I will investigate non USB drive NASs but it gets expensive buying in kit
that doesn't work on RISC OS, anyone want a cheap Freecom NAS unit?
