It seems I was wrong - I'm grateful to Nick Roberts who provided an
excellent explanation as to how the OS trawls through the Sytem
directories to locate NetTime and the reason for its complexity.

Yes, *show sys* is useful to indicate the many paths.

My understanding is sloooooooowly improving :-)

Everything is now set IAW the Iyonix-Support FAQ and NetTime works
correctly :-))
