As many have an Iyonix2 fund would it be possible to gauge real
commitment by another route?

For example, would it be possible to set up Iyonix2 Ltd as a
subsidiary of Iyonix and ask for commitment in the form of buying a
share? Maybe ask for 200 Iyonix enthusiasts to buy 1 share each at
£500 each to give a seed fund for developing and producing the first
200 computers, with some kind of commitment to the shareholders that
they could buy one basic Iyonix2 at an agreed price of (say) £1000.
The "basic" Iyonix 2 would need to be defined.

I would sign up for it as I really would like the opportunity to buy
an Iyonix 2. My (c. 2002) Iyonix failed last year and it ended up
costing me about £800 with a replacement mother board and a few other
mods.

The numbers are probably not right but it is just a thought.
