Its an announcement that there will be no new machine and an 
explanation of why. There is no "would you buy a machine from us under 
any of these following options....". Unless the best way to gauge 
interest is to announce you are packing up.

In what? There is no spec, price, outline timescale, deposit required 
or anything concrete to respond to beyond saying "Please Castle, 
reconsider". That would be a survey...

There does not. It was a suggestion to Castle to at least test the 
possible ideas before deciding there is no viable market. As several 
other people have also said, I have not bought anything from Castle 
recently because they have had nothing new to sell.
