Odd. If you look at Hole500 in a text editor, it says: BlackHole 4.04 
(18 Apr 2004) Risc OS 5.00, so I don't understand why it isn't working 
for you :-(

It works fine here. Is it time for the electronic version of a clout 
with a hammer; i.e. a reboot? This sometimes solves odd happenings for 
me.

<a bit later> Stumbles, I think, across the situation. In the 
downloaded version of the app, in the Run file is the line:

RMEnsure BlackHole 4.02 Error The Black Hole Module version 4.02 is 
not present

In my copy this refers to 4.04, not 4.02, and I have a vague memory of 
having had to change that. Perhaps see if that works for you?
