Hello everybody.

After 15 years I'm back to the Archimedes and RISC OS world.
I bought a Iyonix via Ebay, but the hard drive is locked.
Is there a hacker around who knows what I could do ?
If not possible to unlock the machine (school machine), I'll have to reformat the drive. I'd like to be sure everything is in ROM on this machine, and nothing vital will be lost. If somebody can tell me what I should absolutly duplicate beforehand, I'd be grateful. Also if you could tell me where I can find the HFormat utility for the Iyonix ... sorry it's not very clear in my mind, my knowledge of RISC OS is weak today.

Try typing jsd3552 as the password. It worked for a previous eBay buyer of
ex-school Iyonixes.
yjanks neill .. this should be the answer. AFAIK there will be 20 or so iyonix machines 'leaking' on to the market from the same school.. 

expect the same lock password on them all

Failing that, try contacting Gonzalo Meza via this list (his email address
isn't given in the archive). He had the same problem as you (probably the
same eBay seller) a while back and seemed to get the right password in the
end.
