I've had that problem with the Mac and simple memory sticks - but it
recognises the same stick if it's connected at Boot. The sticks work OK when
plugged into an A9, Iyonix, RiscPC, and A6 but I've yet to find a way to give
the Mac a kick without a re-boot! ;-(
