Well let me know. Its probably a dry join where the socket connects to 
the circuit board and there is a slight flexing when things are 
plugged in. A quick dab with a soldering iron usually fixes this.

Its a possibility, but you can still use side ones once you've plugged 
them back in. If you need a new card, they are easy to fit, there is 
only on screw to undo.
