I recently had some weird problem whereby the USB ports at the front
of the Iyonix wouldn't recognise a memory stick. However, they seem to
now but not predictably. I have a multi-card read in one socket and if
that's already in then the memory stick isn't recognised (i.e. appear
on the Iconbar).
If I put the stick in first it appears but the multi-reader only shows
3 out of 4 icons. The stick is ":0" and the card reader 1-3. I thought
the iyonixwould allow up to 100 USB connections?
"USB connections" is a different matter to "USB mass storage devices".
But the problem here is that FileCore is hopelessly stuck in the 1980s
and only allows 4 removable devices per filesystem. Fixing this is
possible, but I suspect, rather difficult.
