I'm intrigued by this. The only problem I am aware of is the 2 GB limit for
image filing systems, obviously irrelevant for a 128MB drive. Otherwise I
find no problems using DOS format to transfer files to/from DOS, and,
though I only have the one Iyonix, transferring files to and from it.

What are these inconsistencies spurring you to persevere with attempting to
use the native format despite present difficulties?

I /had/ imagined you were persevering just to solve an apparent problem
from an intellectual viewpoint!
