I have the DNS (gleaned from the other machines set here (aswell as Gateway) Also in this window I have Try name server too ticked. This is followed by after 'Host' file. Looking in the Hosts file I find that Tristan has set # Donot olter theloopback entry # 127,0.01 loopback localhost iyonix 10.0.0.2 a URL carthage 10.0.6.1 similar URL phoenix These are the names of our dead server and a printer (I think) A guess: the software looks in the Hosts file? nothing happens so it then looks at primary name server? Also Resolver module is named as Resolver(Acorn) can't untick that one.
