[iyonix-support] Strange problem

I have a strange problem.
I have my Iyonix (5.13) and a PC (XP) connected together through a router. This allows either machine to access the internet, and it also allows me to transfer files (htm) from the Iyonix (where I write them) to the PC. It has worked faultlessly for the last year or two, and today I can still access the Internet from both and transfer files from the PC to the Iyonix. However, this afternoon I modified an htm file on the Iyonix and dropped it as usual onto the Lanman::WORKGROUP.$.(folder) but immediately got the error: 

Copying files
Error when writing
LanMan::WORKGROUP.$.(Iyonix to PC).index/htm
Error from Server
I tried it with several different files with the same result. So I tried transferring from the PC onto the Iyonix, where I was able to open the file on the Iyonix and even access the Internet OK, but when I tried to modify it and save it back, I got the same error.
Can anyone explain what has happened and how I rectify it because I need to be able to transfer files in this way? (Please bear in mind that I am just a User and not a Programmer).
