The noise is coming from the back of the Iyonix at the top. Strangely 
it hasn't made the noise at all today.

It could certainly be what you suggest, I've decided that I will get 
myself a new PSU as £40 is cheaper than a new Iyonix ! if that doesn't 
resolve the problem then I don't know !

Thanks to all who have offered help and advice on this issue, very
