Whereas the rest of the media (and the RISC OS PRMs for that matter) are
completely infallible.

I would suggest looking at the RISC OS wiki as another data point -
http://www.riscos.info - as this is obviously a lot more focused on the
information RISC OS users care about. More contributors would be welcome
though. Other sources such as the Drobe article database and old usenet
posts also have a ton of data. And the collected StrongHelp manuals give
some decent potted summaries of many areas.

Searching on Google, Google groups, Wikipedia, www.riscos.info and the
relevant company web site(s) is a good start. It's sometimes worth trying
other search engines as well or instead - coverage does vary slightly, after
all. All right, you can't trust any of the information you get anywhere
100%, but these sources ought to be enough to provide a decent overview.

Unfortunately, none of these would have been likely to help the original
voltage query, unless one has the knack for phrasing one's queries just
right. Which often requires already having at least as suspicion as to the
right answer before you start . . .

Simon Smith The idea of an uncrackable digital rights management
(DRM) scheme is fundamentally flawed. Encryption is
about A sending information to B while ensuring that
C cannot read it. In DRM, B and C are the same person.
