It's RISC OS SIX (incorporating RISC OS 4 - and 3) AFAIK. How much of that is
also RO5 is another matter as that OS is derived from a version that took
another route. I think the answer has to be to take specific advice where you
encounter contradictions - and check on a range of machines that you have
working programs.
