No. As far as the programming interface is concerned the fork is 
between RISC OS 4.0x and Select. RISC OS 5 offers a superset of the 
RISC OS 4 API (except, as Steve mentioned, for calls that were 
deliberately removed and calls that are for hardware that the Iyonix 
does not have, most notably the parallel port).
