Hi
<snip>
All 4 "disc" icons appear, and 'devices' shows:
0:0.0 Direct-access Unknown NEODIO USB Storage-SMC 320D
0:0.1 Direct-access Unknown NEODIO USB Storage-CFC 320D
0:0.2 Direct-access Unknown NEODIO USB Storage-MMC 320D
0:0.3 Direct-access Unknown NEODIO USB Storage-MSC 320D
as it always did.
None of these give a directory viewer with a card inserted. ROFS detects
nothing on all 8 supposedly-available drives (0 - 7).
*devices also shows 'hidden' devices.
In case there are others undisplayed, I have tried adding to the Hide file,
but find it somewhat confusing.
there is a tool for this.. and colin granville did a very useful
configure tool to handle this.
otherwise there is a basic file in Utilities.USB-Mass that will produce
a prototype hide file for what you have plugged in.
Could you concatenate one of the above lines to the required format,
please, for future reference.
However, ROFS not finding anything suggests to me either the card(s) or the
card reader are not working, which is why I asked about formatting.
this suggests the card reader cannot read the specific card.. nothing at
this stage to do with formatting, as the *devices command merely reports
what is seen, irrespective of format on the device.
