and then RMREinit'ing them, but it doesn't seem to work with USB devices,
because if I RMKill scsifiler, you can't reinitialise it without rebooting
the machine.


its scsifs, not scsifiler that is relevant....



I'm wondering there's anyway you can reset the device and then access it
again, without a reboot?
*usbreset n where n is the usb device number from *usbdevices ... this does not work for the 'root hubs' though (ehci and ohci drivers)
