Just to mention in passing: I too have noticed oddities with !Printers,
on the Iyonix, remote printing to a parallel port colour printer
(HP2550) in that -- although it is Shared with colour enabled, this is
not relected at the Iyonix, and changing settings there and saving does
not in fact save that choice over a reset of the Iyonix.

I wonder if there might be a connection with this USB-related bug, and
if so whether this would be useful to report once the website is
available again.  If not, I shan't clutter their database with something
not relevant, or report separately (i.e. not mentioning the USB natter)
if that would be helpful.

As long as it doesn't go completely off the Rails...

I suspect a lot of us have high hopes for this initiative, especially if
it does assist toward eventual convergence of the different
strands/forks of desktop RISC OS.
