ATM I my Iyonix keeps getting freezeing when sometimes I run Netfetch
2.20a, although I am not convinced that Netsurf is the problem.
Sometimes it doesn't freeze when I run Netftch. My Netfetch has
remained the same version for nearly 2 years, so I'm sure it is not
that since the freezes are only just happening.
When I <ALT><BRK> then a window pops up claiming to be the Windows
Manager and asks me if I want to stop a WimpScroll. If I do, then
windows wont scroll anymore with the mouse wheel (no surprise there)
What I have done recently is mess about with !HID (in particular, the
window with the 'Scroll wheel' settings). When I had finished setting
them, I saved them (Menu>File>Save (f3), but only much later when I
was shutting down the computer did another window pop up asking me
whether I wanted to save it as part of boot. I said no. But each time
I shut the computer down, this same nag screen came up, and I
eventually I said 'yes', because it was seemingly so persistent that I
did.
Now I get these problems when running NetFetch frezing the computer
unless I quit WimpScroll (although I don't? think? NetFetch uses
scroll windows?!)
How do I 'un-save' these settings to Boot?
My !scroll settings in !HID are this:
1 Netsurf Fixed distance 200 units
2 Edit Ctrl-Shft-Arrow Up Down Key 5 units
3 Filer fixed distance 100 units
4 Eureka Eureka mode 5 units
5 IMP PUB fixed distance 200 units
6 Strong Ed fixed distance 200units
7 Oregano2 Scroll request 5units
8 MessPro fixed distance 200 units
9 Variations fixed distance 630 units.
I have messed with settings numbered 1, 7, 8, 9.
Is anything obviously incorrect with any of those settings?
