[iyonix-support] PS2 mouse/KVM/PS2->USB convertor Question

I have a little 'funny' on my Iyonix that I was wondering if
anybody could shed any light on.

I use my Iyonix with a KVM switch. The keyboard and mouse on
the KVM switch are PS2. I have a PS2 to USB convertor for
connecting the mouse and keyboard leads to the Iyonix. The
keyboard works fine but the mouse does not. I therefore
use a separate mouse for the Iyonix. However, the mouse
connected to the KVM switch *does* work on occasion. Both
mice work at the same time then. I have not noticed anything
that causes it to work. It is more or less a case of, 'oh, the
mouse is working today'. Sometimes it will even work after
rebooting the machine but normally the Iyonix starts to ignore
it again. This has been going on for ages and is not dependent
on the version of RISC OS. The mouse has not changed, nor has
the KVM switch, which is a Myhopper one from Stuart Tyrell.
The mouse works fine with the PC on the KVM switch, which, again,
is using a PS2 to USB convertor. Does anybody have any ideas as
to why this is?
