Thanks for the thought Brian, but the relevant page on that point is
"Specification". It details 2x AGP and 1x PCI card of this spec. The one
I bought is the PCI version. But as John explained, not the correct
voltage. That they do not mention.

The device is clearly branded PCI and I had checked the comparable slots
for AGP. I found the following page useful in distinguishing between
PCI, PCIe and AGP.

While the pins on PCI and PCIe appear the same the AGP is very obviously
different.
