Agreed, this is what I always do with such.  And usually these days I
download most things to a RAMdrive, examine and rename them there and
then move them to their favourite storage place - or sometimes just
delete them as they are a waste of time.

It would be nice if this could be done but it is a question of
priorities.  Is the work of completely revising the site for a minor
improvement better than the work of updating or writing some other
module?
