Here is what my livebox says when accessed via my peecee ....
Activation du serveur DHCP :    Activé
Adresse IP LAN:         192.168.1.1
Adresse de broadcast du LAN:    192.168.1.255
Masque de sous-réseau:     255.255.255.0
Début de la plage DHCP:    192.168.1.9
Fin de la plage DHCP:   192.168.1.200

Can you ping the Livebox? Do Ctrl-F12, then type:

 ping 192.168.1.1

Press escape to stop.
If your Livebox is already in use, it may be set up for DHCP -- in which case the instructions on the web page probably don't apply (easily fixable though).
