Following on from my previous posting (thanks to all who contributed to that) I have been loaned an MP3 player to see if it works OK or not, in theory it sounds perfect, it is a Sony NWD-B103 1GB capacity MP3 Player, it has no windows software with it or anything fancy, just appears to be pretty much the same as my Packard Bell audio key. I looked on the internet for information about this player and it says requires no software and works by simply dragging and dropping files ! sounds good I thought so i've just plugged it in to the Iyonix, waiting and hoping, the Iconbar icon popped up for the device, yes it works I thought , then I double clicked on the icon and was presented with the following message - "Bad block size - must be 256/512/1024" In other words it doesn't work, but can it be made to work ? I seem to recall something about formatting a drive like this to make it work on RISC OS, did I imagine that ? or is it simply not going to work? i'm suprised it didn't as I thought it would , is the capacity too big ? cheers Matthew -- Message sent from an IYONIX www.iyonix.com Using RISC OS 5 : RISC OS Open Ltd www.riscosopen.co.uk --- To alter your preferences or leave the group, visit //www.freelists.org/list/iyonix-support Other info via //www.freelists.org/webpage/iyonix-support
