I should like to use my XEROX-printer as network (PCL)-printer.
(printer: XEROX Phaser 6130 postScript printer + PCL-fonts)
I tried to use RemotePrinterFS (rpfs), but I do not know how to
install the printer.
I copied the RPFS directory into Boot:Choices.Boot.PreDesk and tried
RemotePrinterFS#proto=LPD;address=192.168.1.78;queue=PS:
It did not work.
Can anyone help please.
Herman Reintjes.

I have a Phaser 6120 printing successfully from the network here.
What
I have in the connections box is:
One more question
Wich printer did you install from the 'Iyonix' printerlist?
I tried HP-printer: LasJet4-ps, and did not succeed.

I suspect the problem isn't fixed (see below)

So in what way didn't it work?
What error message did you get?
and at what stage?

I suspect you may have double clicked on the RPFS module and next time you
reboot it won't be loaded and it will fail.

I had this problem and tracked it down to $.!Boot not fully completing and as ...PreDesk.RPFS is one of the last things to be run in the predesk (and
no error was being printed onto the screen) I hadn't noticed it.

renaming PreDesk.RPFS PreDesk.aaaRPFS fixed RPFS being run, now to trace
what is causing a problem in PreDesk...

Thanks for your help.
I installed the HP printer (lj II PS) and all works fine at the moment.
