I have the same Belkin KVM on my Iyonix/Windows set up. It works well
most of the time, however occasionally, could be once or twice in a day or
no problem for several weeks, I find that when I switch back to the Iyonix
the machine has stiffed. There is no error message, nor is there any
power getting to the keyboard or optical mouse - no LEDs alight. If the
error happens before screen blanking then the desktop is still displayed,
if the error happens after screen blanking then no desktop is displayed.
The reset button is the only cure. I cannot establish any consistent
cause for this.

Any thoughts.

Richard Darby.
