I have been using the self same KVM from the same source (well, the
Edinburgh store 8o) for must be three years now without any problems.
I have all four outlets populated - in addition to the three models
mentioned by David, there is also a Shuttle PC. The RiscPC maintains
its mouse, since I do not have a PS2 to RiscPC adapter. The Iyonix
has a double PS2 - USB adapter, also from Maplins.

I usually have the external PS switched on, but not always. I
switched it off earlier this week as a test, but nothing appears to
have changed. My Iyonix runs 24/7, but the other machines tend to
only go on when needed.
