I'm not in a position to say what the problem is Paul.

But *if* it is due to the mouse disappearing, you can put two mice on 
the Iyonix. Both will even work simultaneously. [The same is true for 
an iMac. In fact I do have 2 mice permanently attached to a iMac, one 
for a LH person, the other a RH person].

So, if the mouse permanently attached to the Iyonix is a dummy mouse 
(one with its balls removed), this may fix it *if* the cause is 
because the Iyonix doesn't like its mouse disappearing. I don't know.
