It is not temperature or time related.

1.Switch on machine. Wait 30 minutes.
2.Temperature gauge on Iyo Panther shows 37C.
3.Start NetSurf - It fails.
4.Quit NetSurf. Start NetSurf - it works.

5.Re-boot (no power off) Temperature still shows 37C
6.Repeat from 3. above with same result.

I would like to get to the bottom of this mystery before wiping !Boott 
and starting afresh but it is beginning to seem unlikely.
