Using a RISC OS task window I typed at the star prompt PING 10.0.0.2 I
assume you meant to me to type that, and I am getting a never ending
list streaming through saying -

64 bytes from 10.0.0.2: icmp_seq=284 ttl=64 time=1.200ms

and seq number is continually going up and the time is a random number
every time. Does this prove anything?

cheers
Matthew
