Battery power is quite long nowdays with modern rechargeable lithium ion batteries. I saved (or is this word now deprecated) and am delighted with a newly purchased Canon EOS 40D. Plugging it into the Iyonix gives no response but I was aware of this before buying - you just have to prove it yourself don't you ;-) Direct connection can be achieved on a PC because dedicated software has been written to do this - lucky devils!
