When I built my Iyonix, I was advised that it could be picky about 1GB
memory modules so I bought mine directly from Castle. Mine is an 'Infineon
HYS64D12802GU-7-A with A3531427007 and is 1024MB, DDR, 266 CL2'. It is
organized in 128Mx64 SDRAM PC2100U-20330-B1.
I have rarely used > 512MB at one time but have never run out of memory. I
built my Iyonix at the end of October 2004 but the information above may
still be useful. It may be worth ensuring that whoever you buy from will
allow you to return it if the Iyonix does not get on with it, unless you
have another machine that still takes that type of memory.
