A simple answer is the Big F word (it affects a lot of areas of life) FUNDING! On another fromt I recently went into a Computer emporium of the "We'll service your computer and sell you a refurbished machine" variety to source aspare keyboard. The youngish man in there and I got talking and I mentioned RISCOS...his eyes lit up, " I worked for NASA for seven years so I know about RISC. It's great. So easy and fast." I told him a bit about RISCOS and he's borrowed my old RISC PC...he was unaware that there is a commercially available RISC architecture for home use. What was great was to see someone who has been out in the wide world excited about, as a result of use, RISC. I wonde rif he'll be converted fully?
